Noterik provides the Dutch Jewish Historical Museum with Oral History tools for enriching their video collections. Our tools are used for indexing more than 5,000 hours of interviews from the Survivors of the Shoah Foundation, which was established by Steven Spielberg and furthers the remembrance of the Holocaust of World War II. The tools enable experts – more than 60 in this case – to watch the videos from home and add time-based metadata, such as textual summaries for different video chapters.
Our Fragment Tagging Tools enable easy and efficient indexing of audiovisual content. With our tools experts can add different types of time-based video metadata such as places, time periods, people’s names and themes. As the time-based metadata refers to specific video moments, it is possible to search easily for things inside the videos. Specific scenes or video fragments can be used for instance in educational projects.
